Abstract

INDONESIA Makalah ini terfokus pada aspek pengajian dan pelestarian kajian kitab Turast Arab-Melayu di Indonesia khususnya di Lombok Nusa Tenggara Barat dengan mengklasifikasikan kajian ini menjadi empat bagian: 1). Pengajian (Khalaqah), 2). Pengajian Umum Majelis Dakwah dan Ta’lim para Tuan Guru/ Asâtiz. 3). Materi kajian-kajian di pondok pesantren secara formal. 4).Pembacaan kitab-kitab Melayu oleh kebanyakan masyarakat awam dalam setiap kegiatan keagamaan. Kajian ini signifikan karena, kitab Arab-Melayu merupakan khazanah Nusantara yang kian hari mulai memudar di kalangan masyarakat Islam Melayu. Hal ini terlihat dengan berkurangnya minat dan atensi masyarakat dalam mengkaji dan menggunakan bahasa Melayu-Arab sebagai media tutur bahkan media tulis menulis. Berbeda halnya dengan era abad ke 18-19 M bahasa Arab-Melayu menjadi sesuatu yang sangat penting di kalangan masyarakat Melayu, karena dipakai menjadi media komunikasi dan media literasi. Geliat yang paling menonjol terhadap Literasi Melayu pada abad ke-14 M sampai abad ke-16 M dimana banyak kitab-kitab yang diterjemahkan, digubah atau disadur ke bahasa-bahasa yang ada di Nusantara baik bahasa Melayu, Jawa, Sunda, Bugis atau lainnya. Bahkan, beberapa pengarang Indonesia juga menulis kitab-kitab dengan bahasabahasa mereka dengan gaya dan isi yang serupa dengan kitab aslinya. SedangkanTradisi membaca dan mengkaji kitab Melayu sebenarnya sudah lama berjalan di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Baik dibaca dalam pengajian maupun dibaca sendiri-sendiri oleh masyarakat. seperti pengkajian kitab Sabîlul Muhtadîn karya Syeikh Muhammad Arsyad Banjar tentang fiqih, Kitab Perukunan tentang ibadah, doa dan zikir, Hidayatus Sâlikîn tentang tasawuf, Masa’ilah al-Muhtadi tanya jawab tentang usul fiqih dan tasawuf dan sekaligus sering dipakai nyaer (membaca kitab bertuliskan Arab-Melayu dengan berlagu), Qishashul Anbiyâ’, Kifâyah al-Muhtâj, Nur Muhammad, dan cerita terbunuhnya Husain bin Ali. ENGLISH This paper focuses on the recitation and preservation of Arab- Malay Turast book reviews in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, which classified into four sections: 1) Recitals (Khalaqah) 2) Public preaching from The Majelis Dakwah (Islamic Da’wa council) and The Para Tuan Guru’s (Asâtiz) focused group studies (Majelis Taklim). 3) Formal material studies at Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) 4) Reading of Malay Islamic books by commoner in several religious activities. This study is significant because, The Arabic-Malay books are considered as a treasure for the Archipelago and yet, it is starting to fade among the Malay Islamic society. This also seen from the more and more lack of interest in speaking and writing using Arab-Malay language. Unlike the era of 18-19 century, where Arabic-Malay is considered as the most important language among the Malay communities, since it was used in communication and media literacy. The most prominent stretch of the Malay Literacy could be seen in the 14th to 16th century where many books are translated, composed or adapted into several languages, includes Malay, Javanese, Sundanese, Bugis and many others. In fact, some Islamic Indonesian authors also re-wrote the books with similar style and content closed to the original book. Moreover, the tradition of reading and reviewing Islamic Malay books have long taken place in the midst of society. It was both read on the public preaching or individually, such as the research of the Sabilal Muhtadin fiqh’s book by Syeikh Arsyad Banjar; Kitab Perukunan Ibadah Doa dan Zikr (worship, praying and remembrance), Hidayatus Salikin on Sufism; Fiqh’s and Sufism’s Al-Muhtadi Masa’ilah which is also commonly used in nyaer form (reading the Arab-Malay books in a singsong manner); Qishashul Anbiya; Kifayah al-Muhtaj; Nur Muhammad, and the story of the Husain bin Ali’s killing.
