Abstract

INDONESIA Studi ini membahas respons para juru dakwah (da’ i) di K ota M ataram terkait dengan wacana sertifikasi para khatib salat Jumat yang diwacanakan oleh pemerintah pada tahun 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Untuk menjawab fokus penelitian, peneliti melakukan wa-wancara mendalam dengan para juru dakwah dan khatib. T emuan kajian ini menegaskan bahwa saat ini sertifikasi khatib belum perlu diterapkan. Pasalnya, ti dak ada buk ti kuat yang menunjukkan adanya radikalisasi di tengah masyarakat M ataram akibat dari khotbah Jumat. N amun demikian, para responden menekankan pentingnya upaya standarisasi dalam segala aspek keagamaan, terutama pada aspek manajemen masjid dan managemen kelembagaan keagamaan di bawah pembinaan K ementerian Agama R I dan organisasi kemasyarakatan Islam ENGLISH T his study discusses the response of da' i in the city of M ataram related to the discourse on certification of Friday prayer preachers which was commissioned by the govern-ment in 2017. This study used qualitative methods. In-depth interview towards da' i and Jumat prayer preachers was uti l i z ed to c ol l ec t the data to answ er the foc us of the re-search. The findings of this study revealed that currently the k hati b certification is not necessary. This is because there is no strong evidence that has shown the radicaliz ation occurs in M ataram resulted from Friday sermon. H owever, the res-pondents emphasized the importance of standardiz ation of all aspects of religion, especially on aspects of the mosque management and religious institutional management under the guidance of the Indonesian M inistry of R eligion and Islamic community organiz ations.
