Abstract

Equality education programs provide equal space for the entire community to access education. Seeing that many people have dropped out of school but still have a high enthusiasm for learning, these people are pursuing Paket C at the Community Learning Activity Center to get an MA / SMA diploma. This study aims to find out how the effectiveness of communication of Paket C tutors in improving access to equality education carried out in South Tetebatu Village, Sikur District, East Lombok. As well as knowing what are the factors that hinder and support the effectiveness of tutor communication in South Tetebatu Village. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. To obtain the results and objectives of the study using observation methods, interviews, and documentation. Data are sourced from primary data obtained through direct observation and interviews, and secondary data through documents. The theory used in this study is effectiv communication. From this research, it is shown that the effectiveness of communication between Paket C tutors in South Tetebatu Village is quite effective. Because in delivering the material, it meets the requirements for communication effectiveness such as clarity, accuracy, and flow. In any communication there will definitely be obstacles. Obstacles that occur in PKBM Bina Taqwa such as mechanical obstacles, namely obstacles to the media or tools used, physiological obstacles such as hearing loss and vision of learning residents, and Psychological, namely the mentality of learning residents.
