Abstract

INGGRIS The masters of religious moderation verses of the Indonesian Ulema Council are interpreted in this study from the perspective of aqidah in the Qur'an. This research is qualitative in nature. Two sources provided the data used in this investigation. First, primary information obtained from in-depth interviews with instructors who are part of the West Lombok community of the Indonesian Ulema Council The second method of obtaining secondary data is through documentation, namely data collecting in the form of academic publications and journals. Content analysis is the method of analysis utilised. In this instance, the researcher used accessible documents and interview results to create themes. According to this study, there are four categories into which the verses of the Qur'an that demonstrate moderation from the viewpoint of aqidah can be divided: first, faith and kufr as personal matters; second, guidance and guidance belongs only to Allah SWT; third, differences and diversity of beliefs as Allah's will (iradah); and fourth, the Messenger of Allah was sent as a bringer of good news and a warner. The informants focused more on their interpretation from the standpoint of Islamic evangelization. It makes sense that the MUI West Lombok lecturers spend the most of their time preaching in various taklim majlis.
