Abstract

ENGLISH The total quality management approach strives for clients’ satisfaction as the main factor to sustain a professional activity. One of the professional activities is Higher Education services, of which their built environment of teaching and learning process will largely affect their client behavior and culture. In line with the ongoing transformation of some IAINs to fully fledged universities, the immediate above total quality management can be indicated from being over whether the quality of Wissenschaft is a main concern. This is particularly important for departments of faculties where people have already labeled them as sole religious studies such as Jurusan Pengembangan Masyarakat Islam (PMI) of Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi (FDK). The improving quality of teaching and learning process will gradually enhance the output quality. This will certainly improve the level of graduate employability. Due to those improving factors, a positive image will hopefully be gradually built. The mentality of sustained professional development is the key of its success.
