Abstract

ENGLISH A number of factors can contribute to the raise of social problems. Religion, as part of day to day life can negatively contribute to the quality of community empowerment and thinking. Here, there is a need to empower the society to practice religious teachings as means of enhancing quality of lives and not source of religious disputes. Research evidence shows that religious teachings are poly-interpretable. Hence, societies can be facilitated with some tool from which they can apply it to better understand the logic of religious teachings and apply them in day to day quality life. Metaphysics, as part of philosophy is proposed to be a tool of thinking. The technique metaphysics can be generally applied is by critical thinking. Religious teachings can be reflexively understood and thought. Metaphysics guides religious followers to contemplate and separate the essence of religious teachings from the rest. The integration of facts and values will make human able to observe phenomena of life and get the underlying values.
