Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe how the management of class management planning, the implementation of classroom management, the supervision of class management and the supporting factors and the inhibiting factors of class management in improving student learning The approach of this research is qualitative with case study type. The informants in this research are the Principal, Teachers and Students. The data collection technique was carried out in three ways, namely, (1) interviews, (2) observation and (3) documentation. Data analysis used by: 1) Analyzing data, 2) Reduction, 3) compiling data units, 4) Categorizing data units, 5) Interpreting. The results showed that class management planning was carried out by arranging facilities, managing teaching and managing students, implementing classroom management by applying several classroom management principles such as warmth and enthusiasm, the principle of challenge, the principle of variety, the principle of flexibility, the principle of emphasizing positive things and the principle of the role of discipline. and several approaches such as learning approaches and behavior change, supervision is carried out continuously and continuously which is carried out twice in one semester, namely at the beginning of the school year and the end of the school year, supporting factors and inhibiting factors for class management are the physical environment, social emotional conditions and organization.
