Abstract

ENGLISH At The New Order, politics can not thrive even tend to be marginalized and got pressures. When the regime of the New Order fall and bring Reform Order, carrying implications for changes in the system of state administration, especially in the political system which is more open and democratic. The roll of reformation, restore political desire of Master Teacher of Boarding School to plunge back into the world of practical politics, either to be a party official or a candidate for the legislative. With the involvement of Master Teacher of Boarding School in practical politics must be seen and examined seriously because Master Teacher will be playing two roles at once. First, is as a symbol or a religious leader (a role to educate and a role model). Second, perform the role as a politician. And almost every regional election in the regency/city in the NTB Province (especially in Lombok Island) Master Teacher of Boarding School always comes up as a candidate, both regent and vice-regent.
