Abstract

Sharia Hotel is a multi-room building that is rented out as a place to stay and a place to eat for people who are on their way; a form of accommodation that is managed commercially, is provided for everyone to obtain services, lodging, food and drink with halal standards in accordance with Islamic law. Grand Madani Hotel Mataram is one of the hotels that pack its service products with the sharia label. This study aims to see the extent to which the Grand Madani Hotel applies the concepts of sharia in serving its guests. This type of research is descriptive qualitative which takes data through observation, interviews and documentation. Some of the opportunities owned by the Grand Madani hotel in developing its business include West Nusa Tenggara residents, the majority of which are Muslim, and expected to support the development of sharia hotels in terms of HR and market share. The halal tourism branding that is being heavily touted in West Nusa Tenggara needs to be supported by the existence of Hotels with Islamic labels. While the challenge is the mushrooming construction of hotels in the city of Mataram which causes intense competition. The Islamic service standards of the Grand Madani Hotel Mataram are applied to almost all facilities and services, both physical and non-physical. Non-Islamic Islamic service standards include dress ethics, greetings, and congregational prayers for employees. Islamic physical services include facilities in a guest room that provides Qibla direction, ablution facilities, prayer tools, the Qur'an, and a swimming pool that separates men and women
