Abstract

INDONESIA Diskursus moderasi beragama menjadi isu sentral yang banyak mendapat perhatian publik ketika munculnya pandangan pemahaman keagamaan ekstrem dari sebagian kelompok dalam mengartikulasikan praktek keberagamaan, sehingga kadang memicu aksi-aksi intoleran dan kekerasan.Tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa ekstremisme beragama seringkali disebabkan oleh pola pikir ekstrem (tatharruf) dalam memahami teks-teks keagamaan secara rigid, tekstual dan skripturalis, tanpa mempertimbangkan dinamika historis, konteks sosial, aspek mashlahah dan maqashid dalam beragama. Munculnya fundamentalisme, ekstremisme, radikalisme dan terorisme dilatarbelakangi oleh berbagai faktor yang sangat kompleks dan pelik. Salah satunya adalah pada aspek pemahaman terhadap ajaran fundamental ajaran agama yang bersifat literal-skriptural, rigid dan cenderung mengarah pada klaim kebenaran. Ciri utama ini berkaitan dengan pemahaman dan interpretasi mereka terhadap doktrin keagamaan, jihad misalnya, yang cenderung bersifat rigit dan literalis. Disinilah signifikansinya Moderasi maqashidi yang mana interpretasinya berangkat dari pengkajian secara mendalam tentang makna berbagai lafaz teks nash, menemukan hakikat tujuan hukum (Maqasid al-Syari’ah), interpretasi teks-teks syari’ah, dan penetapan hukum berdasarkan dalil-dalil nash, sehingga moderasi maqashidi ini bisa dijadikan sebagai model kontra ekstremisme beragama. ENGLISH The discourse of religious moderation has become a central issue that has received a lot of public attention when the views of extreme religious understandings emerged from some groups in articulating religious practices, thus sometimes triggering intolerant and violent actions. It is undeniable that religious extremism is often caused by extreme mindsets (tatharruf ). in understanding religious texts rigidly, textually and scripturally, without considering historical dynamics, social context, maslahah and maqashid aspects in religion. The emergence of fundamentalism, extremism, radicalism and terrorism is motivated by various very complex and complicated factors. One of them is on the aspect of understanding the fundamental teachings of religious teachings which are literal-scriptural, rigid and tend to lead to truth claims. This main characteristic relates to their understanding and interpretation of religious doctrines, jihad for example, which tends to be rigid and literalist in nature. This is where the significance of maqashidi moderation is based, where the interpretation departs from an in-depth study of the meaning of various texts of the text, discovering the nature of the purpose of law (Maqasid al-Shari’ah), interpretation of shari’ah texts, and the determination of law based on the texts’ arguments, so that This maqashidi moderation can be used as a model for counter religious extremism
