Abstract

INGGRIS This study aimed at investigating the views of teachers of MTs (Islamic Junior High School) in western Lombok Indonesia toward natural science learning integrated with islamic values. A qualitative research using survey method was conducted on 20 respondents who were natural science teachers at 7 MTs in West Lombok regency Indonesia. The data were collected using questionnaires, interviews and observations and analyzed descriptively. The results of this study will be described further. Natural science teachers at MTs consider that natural science learning integrated with Islamic values is very important to be done. Furthermore, the integration of Islamic values in natural science learning has begun to be done on various subject matter, but its implementation has not been well planned (no learning media prepared). On the otherhand the problems encountered in the natural science learning integrated withIslamic values were related tothe factors of teachers and the other supporting factors in the form of infrastructure and regulation. Finally, it is necessary to have natural science instructions handbook which includes the main points of natural science material and Islamic values (dalil-dalil naqli) which are relevant to natural science materials. INDONESIA Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pandangan guru MTs di Lombok Barat Indonesia terhadap pembelajaran IPA yang terintegrasi nilai-nilai Islam. Penelitian kualitatif dengan metode survei telah dilakukan terhadap 20 orang responden yang merupakan guru IPA pada 7 MTs di Kabupaten Lombok Barat Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket, wawancara dan observasi dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: guru IPA di MTs, memandang pembelajaran IPA yang terintegrasi nilai Islam sangat penting untuk dilakukan; pengintegrasian nilai-nilai Islam dalam pembelajaran IPA sudah mulai dilakukan pada berbagai materi pokok, namun pelaksanaannya belum terencana dengan baik (tidak ada perangkat pembelajaran yang disiapkan); kendala-kendala yang dihadapi dalam pembelajaran IPA terintegrasi nilai Islam berasal dari faktor guru dan faktor pendukung yang berupa sarana prasarana dan regulasi; dan dibutuhkan buku pedoman pembelajaran IPA yang memuat pokok-pokok materi IPA dan nilai-nilai Islam (dalil-dalil naqli) yang relevan dengan materi IPA.
