Abstract

ENGLISH Islamic Teacher Training students must have proficient skills in reading Islamic texts to effectively convey the message of Islam to their students. Reading is fundamental to the Islamic faith, and the Qur'an, Hadith, and Islamic jurisprudence texts are among the most important Islamic texts. To read and understand these texts, students must have a good grasp of the Arabic language, an understanding of Islamic principles and values, and critical thinking skills. Arabic language proficiency enables students to comprehend the meaning and context of Islamic texts, while an understanding of Islamic principles and values enables them to interpret and apply the teachings of Islam. Critical thinking skills allow students to analyze and evaluate the content of Islamic texts, leading to a deeper understanding and appreciation of the message of Islam. In summary, Islamic Teacher Training students must develop proficient reading skills to effectively convey the knowledge of Islam to their students. This requires a thorough understanding of the importance of reading in Islam, the different types of Islamic texts, and the skills required for effective Islamic reading.
